Czech Republic have debuted to the Wonderful Song Contest in 1st edition. Their currently best place is in 25th edition by Mikolas Josef with his song "Me Gusta". He has placed on 1st place with a total of 201 points. Czech Republic have won only one time and 26th was hosted in Prague, but Czech Republic as the main WBU country have decided and hosted also 1st edition of Wonderful Song Contest. In Prague is held WBU. Their worst entry was entry in 43rd edition, whereKatie Kei has participated with their song "Alien Baby", where she has placed in 21st place in semifinal.
